Micaela Cronin talks to VCOSS CEO Emma King about growing as a leader and the importance of collaboration and partnerships. As Emma notes, partnered approaches are not only more fun they bring different perspectives and can mobilise a wider range of capabilities. Emma gives examples of existing partnerships – like the Human Services and Health Partnership Implementation Committee – which have moved quickly to reorganise around the particular set of issues and challenges produced by the Covid-19 pandemic.
And it’s not just existing partnerships that are making a difference. New partnerships are being created in this time of crisis with unusual suspects coming together for the good of the community.
