FSSI was proud to be part of the VCOSS ‘Good Life’ Summit this year.
The Summit brought together people from right across Victoria’s community sector, focusing on how to deliver a ‘good life’ to everyone across the state.
Fabulous speakers lifted the day to great heights and the buzz of people collaborating and sharing their vision was palpable.
RMIT sponsored a fantastic panel session – The Art of Persuasion – where Summiteers heard from some of Australia’s top campaigners, Sally Rugg, Tony Milne and Jane Martin.
FSSI also presented our range of training, research and co-design activities and we met many more social service workers keen to be part of our work and our vision of making social services the workforce of the future.
Some of our Certificate III in Individual Support scholarship graduates also attended, and we caught up with the fabulous work they are doing out in the field now after completing their course.
All in all it was an inspiring day for FSSI and RMIT to be part of with VCOSS, helping bridge the academic and social service sectors and building the workforce of the future.
